Ugh sometimes enough is enough!

My husband and I were blessed to be able to take an over night getaway this past weekend! I had been waiting for this time because I had a lot of things we needed to discuss, away from the kids.
I think there comes a time in your life when you have to say goodbye to the "trouble-makers" and that is exactly what we discussed. I was pleased to hear he was on the same page and that he supported my descission to walk away from certain people in our lives. At no point, did I ask him to do the same and I never would but I am glad that he could see things from my point of view and he is SICK of all the crap, too! So, after much thought and prayer, I have decided that I need to cut ties with some people in my life.
I have come to the conclusion that certain people are only in your lives for one of the following reasons:
* to hurt or harm you
* to create DRAMA
* to make your life as miserable as theres must be
* to tear a relationship apart
* to just be plain NOSEY
* because they cant cut the cord and realize you are your own family now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Im pretty sure the ones I'm cutting all ties with fall under most of those catagories!!!!!
BUT JUST AN FYI FOR THEM: KEEP ON TRYING , YOU WILL NEVER WIN!!! MY HUSBAND AND I ARE HAPPIER THAN WE HAVE EVER BEEN AND PLAN TO KEEP IT THAT WAY!! Sorry to disappoint you all!! :) BETTER YET KEEP IT UP YOU ARE ONLY PUSHING HIM TO HIS BREAKING POINT AS WELL!!! :)))))

I felt a huge weight lifted when I made my final decission and hubby was behind me 100%!! Thank God for putting people in my life who lift us up, encourage us, and never stab us in the back and run their mouths about us the second something doesn't go their way!!
NEWSFLASH: WE ARE NOT IN KINDERGARTEN ANYMORE ......TIME TO GROW UP AND FIND SOMETHING ELSE TO TAKE UP YOUR OTHERWISE WASTED TIME!!!!

Whats going on in our Little World you ask.....

Well, since the last time I blogged a lot has changed.
We moved in October of 2010.

Spent Christmas day with my mom and dad for the first time in 9 years.(ahhh bliss)

Jason accepted a job with Bham FD in December 2010. (being away from him for 12 weeks during rookie school will kill me...prayers please!!)

January 1st My precious husband bought me MY PRECIOUS SOPHIA ROSE......She is my Fur baby!! I waited so long to find the perfect baby Schnauzer and she definitely is it!

January 10th my baby boy turned 7 months old...oh where did the time go?? ( You are: saying da da, ma ma, bye bye, and hey...sat up alone on Christmas day, already wearing 12-18 month clothes..size 4 diaper....sleeping all night (since 9 weeks of age) scooting around...rolling everywhere....eating table food and picking up finger foods, scream if mama leaves your sight, love talking to nanny on the phone and love being with her and poppi even more) YOU ARE AN AWESOME BABY!!

And in just a few Hours (Jan 22nd) we will celebrate my precious nephew's very first birthday(party). I love that child with every ounce of my being!!! He is a MESS!! I really love when he gets to spend the day with Aunt kissy! (real bday Jan 28th)

Cant wait to see what's new when i update next.....
